The corona crisis poses great challenges to society and the economy. In order to meet its responsibility, Deutsche Steinzeug Cremer & Breuer AG (DSCB), like many other companies, has taken precautions to protect its employees, partners and customers, such as, for example early and regular information, modified rules of access and behaviour, shift models for equalizing parallel presence, closing of factory exhibitions and intensive use of home office also for the sales force in the field. Although with caution and spatial distance, DSCB remains close to the market and the customers.
Ability to deliver and customer service guaranteed
The production at the four production sites in Ötzingen, Schwarzenfeld, Sinzig and Witterschlick for the brands Agrob Buchtal, DryTile and Jasba is running almost without restrictions up to this point. However, as a member of an economic system based on the division of labour with multi-stage process and supply chains, DSCB is only part of the whole and is therefore intertwined with other players in many areas (raw materials, logistics, maintenance etc.). Should the situation change, the company will react quickly and prudently.
The accustomed contact persons in the Customer Service can still be reached via the usual channels. This also applies to the sales force in the field, which is instructed to carefully weigh up whether personal visits are necessary. If desired at all, these should only take place in special cases after prior consultation and in strict compliance with the known rules of conduct.
Dates and events suspended
As an internationally operating company with exports to 80 countries and all continents, training courses, seminars and factory visits are of course massively affected by the world-wide travel restrictions. In the general interest, therefore, all events of this kind will be dispensed with for the time being. New dates will only be planned as soon as the exceptional situation has been defused.
The Board of Management and thestaff of DSCB are doing their utmost to make their contribution to coping with the enormous challenges and wish all partners health and stamina to overcome this crisis together.
